Prasad Rekulapelli, MD, FAAP
Dr. Prasad Rekulapelli known as “Dr. Prasad” is a board-certified
Pediatrician. He is a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
and a member of The Medical Society of Virginia. Dr. Prasad received his
medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College, India and post-graduation in
Pediatrics from University of Health Sciences, India.
Dr. Prasad completed pediatrics residency at Howard University Hospital in
Washington, D.C. He then worked at a large and reputable group practice in
Springfield. Having gained remarkable experience, Dr. Prasad founded
Dulles Pediatrics in 2005. He later opened a second office in Herndon to
make himself more accessible and convenient for both current and future
patients.
Dr. Prasad has over 30 years of experience with caring for children of all
ages. Dr. Prasad believes in the motto: "Healthy kids are happy kids". In
his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching sports with his family. His
other interests are gardening and traveling.
Gita Haddadi, MD, FAAP
Dr. Gita Haddadi known as "Dr. Gita" is a board-certified Pediatrician, and
a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical
degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran and completed
her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s National Medical Center
in Washington, D.C. Dr. Haddadi has been practicing for more than 20 years.
Dr. Haddadi enjoys interacting with children and working with parents to
provide the best medical care for children of different ages from
newborn to adolescents.
Rochelle P. Mascarenhas, PhD, MD, FAAP
Dr. Rochelle Mascarenhas known as "Dr. Rochelle" is the newest member of the
Dulles Pediatrics family! She is board certified pediatrician and is a
fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her M.B.B.S
degree in 2004 from Goa Medical College, India followed by graduate studies
in Biochemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Richmond,
Virginia. After having the first 2 of her 3 children, she felt the calling
to go back to clinical medicine and was grateful for the opportunity to
complete pediatrics residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She has been
working as a community Pediatrician in the Northern Virginia area since
2016. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family,
reading novels, and listening (and sometimes, singing along) to her favorite
songs. She considers it a great privilege to help keep your children healthy
and hopes to bring a smile to their faces each time they come to the office!
